Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. This candidate will support IT Operations in support of Submarine Supply Logistics at Kings Bay, GA.
This position is responsible for maintenance of our computing environment by identifying network requirements, installing upgrades, and monitoring network performance. Duties will include responding to customer Help Desk calls to resolve network, system and application interface problems, evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency, as well as establishing, maintaining, and monitoring various connections and firewalls. The candidate will be part of an IT Networking team and will participate in all phases of Network Administration utilizing IT experience and by following established network policies and procedures. Additionally, candidate will also be required to support other Department operations as needed. A limited amount of travel to off-site locations could be required.].

SSP developed the first sea-based, underwater-launched Strategic Weapon System (SWS), a defense system that is truly critical to our national security. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience: High School Diploma and at least eight (8) years of related/relevant work experience OR an Associates Degree and at least six (6) years of related/relevant work experience OR a Bachelors Degree and at least four (4) years of related/relevant work experience.

• Windows 11 Administration
• Experience maintaining network performance

• Network problem solving
• Understanding of basic network security principles and practices
• Current Security+ CE Certification
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
