Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support a mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC.

You will work with a collaborative infrastructure team supporting an expanding federal environment focused on reliability, security, service continuity, and operational excellence.
The Systems Administrator will administer, patch, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise applications and systems in secure federal environments. This role supports reliable system operations, vulnerability remediation, access management, incident response, change management, and service continuity for mission-critical federal IT systems.
The Systems Administrator will maintain systems, apply patches, manage user and system access, troubleshoot incidents, support backups, document standard operating procedures, remediate vulnerabilities, support change management activities, and contribute to operational reporting. This position will work closely with systems engineers, network engineers, cybersecurity teams, service desk personnel, application teams, and program leadership to ensure secure and reliable day-to-day operations.
This role requires a hands-on technical professional with experience administering enterprise systems, supporting secure configurations, resolving operational issues, maintaining documentation, and working in structured IT environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, customer awareness, and the ability to support mission operations in a classified or sensitive federal IT environment.
