Join Moneris as a Systems Administrator III focused on operating and improving Windows infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will support production platforms that require consistent performance, availability, and security.
This role offers hands-on ownership of Windows Server systems, VMware workloads, patching, lifecycle management, and high-availability environments. You will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, contribute practical PowerShell automation, and work with teams supporting enterprise applications. You will also gain exposure to Azure, configuration management, and compliance-driven operations while helping strengthen documentation, system currency, and service reliability.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $113,000
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Manage Windows Server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage, and infrastructure applications across on-premises and cloud environments.
Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and production environments hosting enterprise applications.
Maintain physical and virtual Windows Server systems to protect performance, stability, and availability.
Support Microsoft clustering and SQL Server-based high-availability environments through patching, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance.
Drive platform currency, SCCM patching, deployments, lifecycle management, and secure system maintenance.
Operate VMware environments for deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server workloads.
Investigate and remediate infrastructure incidents, escalating complex issues and participating in rotational on-call support.
Build PowerShell automation, contribute to Ansible-based configuration work, and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.

Required qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with systems infrastructure administration and support.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
Experience supporting Windows Server infrastructure and production workloads in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy.
Hands-on experience using SCCM for server patching, deployments, and system management.
Experience deploying and administering Windows Server systems in VMware environments.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and supporting clustered or high-availability Windows environments, including Microsoft Failover Clustering or SQL Server.
Preferred qualifications
Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
Exposure to Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation practices.
Familiarity with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) or Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks.
