Everforth ECS is seeking a Systems Administrator I to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
In this role you will support our internal corporate IT team as a Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers and related software. This role involves routine system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and collaboration with other System Administrators. The Systems Administrator will be crucial in implementing software upgrades, patches, and automation processes to ensure system reliability and compliance with applicable standards.
This is a hybrid, on-site role.
Responsibilities include:
• Install, configure, maintain, update, manage, and refine information systems.
• Managing Active Directory, OU structures, Sites, Trusts, DHCP, DNS, and Certificate Services.
• Ensure system components maintain compliance with stated requirements.
• Examine system vulnerabilities and determine actions to mitigate them.
• Analyze system performance for potential security problems.
• Coordinate and/or provide support for system applications and operations.
• Support out-of-band patching and upgrades, which may require non-standard working hours.
• Conduct functional, interoperability, and security testing.
• Participate in technical incident response and security assessment activities.
• Assist in application integration, testing, and monitoring.
Salary Range: $75,000 - 85,000
