Position Title: Systems Administrator/Application Engineer
Location: Government Spaces: Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI


Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Monitor data-center health using existing management tools, and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed.
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
  • Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Provide support identifying, tagging, and normalizing J2 data across standard and O365 SharePoint platforms. Quality Assurance and Quality Control of J2 portal sites, and content support for the J2 SharePoint Portal development.
  • Interact with the workforce to capture requirements, feedback and inform of new and existing capabilities.
  • Provide support identifying, tagging, and normalizing J2 data across standard and O365 SharePoint platforms.
  • Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control of J2 portal sites, and content support for the J2 SharePoint Portal development. APAN community site support, Quality Assurance and Quality Control of J2 Today site, and content support for the J2 SharePoint Portal and Microsoft Teams development.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in physical and virtual servers, network storage, and patch implementation.
  • Support application front and back end updates and troubleshooting.
  • Comptia NET+, Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, Microsoft Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. Or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge of systems may be in lieu of certifications.
  • Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in physical and virtual servers, network storage, and patch implementation.
  • Support application front and back end updates and troubleshooting.
  • CompTIA NET+, Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, Microsoft Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
