Required Experience:
3 YOE & B.S. or 8 YOE – IAT II
Required Skills:
• Strictly Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu [new])
• OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, configuration, operating system and application
troubleshooting, BASH scripting, software compilation and install
• Understanding of HPC architecture, knowledge about high-speed networks such as InfiniBand, Slingshot
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, Ansible
• Good troubleshooting skills – each system is slightly different and there's no "one fix" for a particular problem
Storage Fabric/Networking (focus areas in addition to above):
• Lustre file system configuration and administration, troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience with DDN Exascaler file system appliances
• TCP/IP networking knowledge, specifically storage fabrics
Routers/switches: Cisco and Juniper - Arista also starting to be incorporated
• Genuine curiosity/proactive effort to learn/grow in what comes next: E1000s, ESNs, DAOS, Weka
• Experience with benchmarking tools (e.g. IOR, iperf, FIO, lnet_selftest)

Skills Required
- 3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree, or 8 years of experience
- IAT Level II certification
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Linux administration experience with RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, or Ubuntu
- OS installation, filesystem configuration, TCP/IP networking, operating system and application troubleshooting
- Bash scripting, software compilation, and software installation
- Understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks such as InfiniBand or Slingshot
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, Git, Salt, and Ansible
- Lustre filesystem configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with DDN Exascaler filesystem appliances
- TCP/IP networking knowledge focused on storage fabrics
- Experience with Cisco or Juniper routers and switches; Arista exposure is relevant
- Experience with benchmarking tools such as IOR, iperf, FIO, or lnet_selftest
- Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive willingness to learn
