This role combines deep testing and automation expertise with practical application of AI to improve test effectiveness, speed up verification, and enable intelligent test workflows. You will work closely with architects, product owners and developers to define test strategies, implement automated test suites, and operate robust verification pipelines for production-like environments.
What you will do:

  • Design, implement and maintain automated test suites: unit test validation, integration tests, contract tests, end-to-end and regression tests.
  • Build, maintain and operate CI/CD testing pipelines and test automation frameworks; integrate tests into delivery workflows.
  • Leverage AI tools where they add value to testing (e.g., test generation, intelligent test prioritization, flakiness detection, automated test data generation).
  • Perform API testing as required; define acceptance criteria and SLAs.
  • Create and maintain test data, mocks, stubs and test harnesses for integration with external systems and databases.
  • Ensure testability, observability and traceability of test runs; implement logging, metrics and failure diagnostics.
  • Participate in design and code reviews from a quality perspective; collaborate with developers on testability and defect prevention.
  • Contribute to test documentation, test plans, and QA reporting; drive continuous improvement of testing processes.

The skills you bring:
  • Experience in testing backend Java or Robot applications (Frontend is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (unit, integration, API and end-to-end testing).
  • Practical experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution.
  • Good understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, databases and common integration patterns.
  • Experience with performance/load testing and interpreting results.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, problem analysis and writing clear, reproducible test cases and bug reports.
  • Familiar with test design approaches including TDD/BDD and experience implementing automated acceptance tests.
  • Knowledge of containerization concepts (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native testing practices.
  • Accountable, Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Advanced/Fluent English.

Nice to have
  • Experience or familiarity with LLMs and AI frameworks
  • Familiarity with multi-agent systems and testing orchestrated agent workflows.
  • Experience with non-functional testing (performance, load, reliability and security testing)
  • Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript) for building test tooling and automation.

Why you'll enjoy this role
  • Opportunity to shape how AI is applied across real products and operational workflows.
  • Work in a collaborative, Agile environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Real impact: reduce production defects, speed up delivery through robust automation, and improve customer experience by ensuring reliable AI behavior.
  • Opportunity to grow at the intersection of modern test engineering and practical AI applications.
