Here at Stellantis we are working on the next generation of In-Vehicle Infotainment and Connected Vehicles. To get there we are searching for passionate, hard-working and committed System Team Lead that will drive the system design activities for the features that will run in our cars in the next few years.
Main activities/responsibilities:As a System Team Lead you will need to:
- Be responsible for the timely delivery of the system requirements and its final quality.
- Lead the design phase of the features (system architecture, subsystem design & requirements)
- Prioritize the system activities/backlog according to the features needs.
- Collaborate with business/product development departments to understand their requirements and needs to ensure the highest value is achieved through system definition.
- Make sure that the system design, architecture and functional requirements are released on time and are ensure that requirements are coherent at each level.
- Coordinate and synchronize the planning with the development teams or suppliers
- Support the Integration and Validation plan, in particular system-level root-causing of issues.
- Animate the cross-functional system teams to ensuring that all dependencies are satisfied and removing blocking points
- Act as proxy for all of the interactions with other departments requiring changes, information or whose work is needed for the feature delivery.
- Build a strong technical background to understand to a quite fine level of detail the mechanisms and issues that will impact the feature.
- Follow any Safety aspects related to the features (if any)
- Report and escalate (if necessary), the feature status to the management and business team.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of automotive testing and validation experience
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle dynamics and Mechatronics/Controls
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Experience with requirements management and software version
management tools - Effective project management, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Data logging and analysis using tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANape, etc.)
- Must be capable of driving vehicles at, or above the limit of handling
- Valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET
accredited university - DFSS Green Belt certification
- Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) simulation experience
- Mechatronics based skills/experience/education
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- CAN networking experience
- Microsoft Office tools
