We are looking for a highly enthusiastic System Operability, Maintainability and Operations preparations (EGN) Engineer who will work in Toulouse, France.

What is expected from you:
1. System and Subsystem Reviews Support
- Participate in key system and subsystem reviews (HOR, ORR, DRKP, EiS), ensuring that releases are:
- Deployable with acceptable impact on service performance
- Operable and maintainable
- Verify that all required inputs and undertakings from ESP are complete and contractually compliant.
- Ensure completeness and quality of ESP assessments, with focus on identifying and mitigating risks early in the lifecycle.
- Produce structured review assessments, highlighting:
- Key issues and critical risks
- Responsibility allocation (EUSPA vs. ESP)
- Proposed mitigation actions and schedules
- Risks to deployment and Entry into Service timelines
- Assess impacts of deviations raised by the V2 Product Manufacturer on operations and future deployments.
2. Monitoring of Agency Undertakings
- Monitor and support the production of Agency undertakings delivered by ESP to the V2 Product Manufacturer.
- Coordinate closely with ESP to ensure timely delivery and expected quality levels.
- Track progress and provide regular status reporting, including:
- Risk assessments
- Evidence-based progress validation
3. ESR Deployment and Contractual Follow-up
- Support the follow-up of ESP operational and maintenance baseline updates starting from ESR Critical Design Review (CDR).
- Monitor ESR deployment execution, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and Statements of Work.
- Assess and support the evaluation of:
- Requests for Deviations/Waivers
- Document Change Proposals
- Updates to operational frameworks (e.g. LEO, SLA, SECOPS)
- Contribute to Engineering and Change Control Boards, providing operational and contractual input.
- Identify and support definition of additional activities or procurement needs required for successful ESR Entry into Service.
4. Procurement Support (LIFEX2 and Agency Undertakings)
- Support the procurement of Agency undertakings from ESP, including:
- Identification and validation of required deliverables
- Contribution to Statements of Work and Terms of Reference
- Participate in evaluation of ESP proposals, including clarification requests and negotiation support.
- Monitor the execution of contracted activities, ensuring alignment with requirements and timelines.
5. Coordination and Performance Monitoring
- Review relevant sections of Service Performance Monthly Reports (SPMRs) related to assigned activities.
- Participate in Service Performance Meetings, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
- Maintain close coordination with key stakeholders, including:
- EUSPA service provision and integrated teams
- ESP (ESSP)
- Security, Certification, and PMOQ teams
- Other contractors supporting ESR development

Skills Required

- Experience monitoring and validating Agency undertakings and providing evidence-based progress reporting
- Experience supporting ESR deployment, operational/maintenance baseline updates, and evaluating deviations, waivers and document change proposals
- Experience supporting procurement activities: defining deliverables, contributing to Statements of Work, and evaluating proposals
- Proven ability to coordinate across stakeholders (EUSPA, ESP, Security, Certification, PMOQ, contractors) and participate in Engineering/Change Control Boards
