Provide expert technical support for platform and payload data handling systems across project phases: feasibility, design, simulation, testing, procurement and R&D. Lead resolution of critical development problems, define technology requirements and work plans, manage R&D activities, perform laboratory and hardware verification tasks, monitor technological trends, and contribute to knowledge dissemination and proposal evaluations for ESA projects.

Provide engineering support for digital equipment in RF payloads across ESA projects: design, simulation, modelling, testing, tool development, reviews, and coordination with labs, industry and academia. Maintain state-of-the-art expertise, define technical requirements, and validate hardware/software for payload signal processing, data compression/encryption, and device specification.

Design, develop, verify and validate real-time embedded flight software for ESA spacecraft. Provide technical support, monitor industrial activities, participate in reviews, define/implement R&D and standardisation activities, and contribute to verification/validation, test campaigns and technology dissemination across projects from definition to launch.

Work on end-to-end full-stack features: design DB schemas, build Spring Boot REST APIs, implement React+Mantine UIs, CRUD tables, CSV import flows, and write basic automated tests. Own small product slices under mentorship and follow best practices (clean code, PRs, meaningful commits).
