- Report to the System Layout Lead
- Virtually place automated robotic systems in a manufacturing facility using CAD software, including FactoryCAD
- Develop comprehensive zone and system layouts to optimize manufacturing processes
- Ensure proper placement and reach of automotive and automated robotic systems to maximize efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with other areas of the team, including processing, robotic simulation, and design, to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Occasionally travel to customer facilities to provide on-site support and ensure successful implementation of layouts
- Experience in System Layout or Plant layout, preferably with automated robotic systems
- Experience designing utilizing AutoCAD 3D or 2D
- Familiarity with FactoryCAD
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a team player with strong collaborative skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
