The Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a System Integrator/Test Engineer supporting the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA’s operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA’s mission partners.
Candidate must be able to support a hybrid onsite/offsite schedule at Fort Meade, Scott AFB, SATX DISA facility, or Hill AFB, and at a minimum, a Secret clearance is required upon the start of employment, and within 14 days following the start date the employee must obtain their Security+ certification.
The System Integrator/Test Engineer is responsible for working within a fast paced, Agile team to verify and validate changes made to the system as well as develop more efficient and modern test techniques and processes. The System Integrator/Test Engineer will perform validations of configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow implementation. Works with external and internal stakeholders to understand and confirm the delivery of the digital transformation solutions with emphasis on request fulfillment, automated workflows through ServiceNow Service Catalogs and key ITIL processes like Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and other modules.
Primary Responsibilities

Work with the team to ensure delivery of quality software using Agile Scrum development and test practices.

Analyze capability requirements and collaborate with the technical lead and test manager to ensure verifiable implementations.

Create automation tests utilizing the ServiceNow’s Automation Test Framework (ATFs)

Support identifying the testable acceptance criteria in user stories.

Test ServiceNow capabilities developed as part of user stories defined in the sprint plan.

Support the independent test manager with development and execution of test procedures.

Participate in sprint reviews to address testing results.

Participate in sprint planning sessions.

Translating and interpreting functional requirements into test cases.

Perform regression testing, covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to customer.

Prepare test report summarizing test results including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changes.

Support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements.

Develop detailed test plans, test data, and define test acceptance criteria.

Support customer demonstration, data prep and UAT activities.

Use the Atlassian Jira tool to document and maintain all testing updates and creation of defects.

Assist in maintaining the validation portion of the requirements traceability for software systems (RVTM).

Works with and mentors junior developers to guide and coach them throughout each project.
Basic Qualifications

Requires a US Citizenship.

Hold and active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (i.e., Security+)

Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.

Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT for full time on-site support

Bachelor’s Degree with 8 – 12 years of relevant experience or master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

Test data management and testing automation.

Experience with DevOps, continuous integration tools and source control tools.

Experience with agile development and testing methodologies.
-
The ability to work on a multidisciplinary team.

Willing to assist and train junior testers.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Possesses 3-5 years’ experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration management and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

Prior knowledge and experience with ServiceNow’s ATFs
-
Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified
-
AWS cloud certifications
-
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
