Job Description:
Airbus has provided integrated security solutions to port authorities, coast guards, national navies, and commercial administrations worldwide for over 20 years. We are looking for some System Integration Engineers based in Taiwan for our maritime surveillance systems. You will join the Maritime Engineering department, where your main mission will be to integrate, verify, validate, and deploy maritime surveillance systems based on STYRIS® product.
STYRIS® is an AIRBUS product that collect, process, consolidate, enrich, and display data from a wide variety of maritime sensors, such as radars, automatic identification systems (AIS), direction finders, cameras, weather stations, etc. STYRIS® is based on a modular system architecture and an ergonomic HMI that allows users to monitor and manage critical maritime situations, as well as communicate quickly with all concerned authorities.
Tasks and Responsibilities -
You will primarily be in charge of system integration and testing at the service command centers or radar sites by performing the following tasks.
• Participate in the installation, deployment, and commissioning of the system
• Participate in system acceptance test sessions with clients
• Potentially participate in client training
• Provide support to maintenance teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Fluent in oral and written English communication skill
• 0 to 3 years of experience in software or system integration
• Linux system administration (mandatory requirements)
• Window system administration
• Linux and Windows scripting languages and deployment tools, like Puppet or Ansible.
• Network configuration
• Test management tools (TestLink, XRay, QTest, etc.)
• Bug management tools (Jira …)
• Software configuration management tools (GIT)
• Virtualization solutions (VMware, HyperV, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity
• Databases (Cassandra, Postgres …)
