Job Description
We are seeking a skilled System Engineer with expertise in Oracle Database Administration and IFS Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, configuration, and management of IFS Apps10 and IFS Cloud. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Install, configure, and maintain IFS Apps10 and IFS Cloud environments.
- Manage Oracle Database Administration (DBA) tasks, including performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Utilize tools such as AWR, STATPACK, and TKPROF for database performance analysis.
- Implement and maintain Data Guard, RAC, and OS Clusters for high availability.
- Develop and optimize scripts using PL/SQL for database automation.
- Maintain and enhance security configurations, including SSL setup and networking fundamentals.
- Work with GitHub and Kubernetes for version control and container orchestration (desirable).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Document procedures, best practices, and system configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems & Networking, or Computer Science.
- 3+ years of experience as a IFS System Engineer and Oracle DBA.
- Hands-on experience with IFS Apps10 and IFS Cloud installation and configuration.
- Knowledge of GitHub and Kubernetes is desirable.
- OCA/OCP certifications or equivalent are desirable.
- Basic understanding of networking, SSL configuration, and related security aspects.
- Ability to work in a distributed team setup on 24x7 shifts.
