The Team

The Infrastructure & Deployment team’s purpose is to design, implement and maintain our production and cloud-based infrastructure through secure practices, innovative and efficient methodologies.

The Role

Systems Engineers at Viva.com play a crucial role in managing diverse projects, requiring both independence and strong teamwork. In this position, you will support colleagues across the organization while collaborating with architects, program managers, and engineering leads within the Technology Group. With Viva.com’s focus on AI-driven solutions, you will also contribute to integrating artificial intelligence into system operations, optimizing performance, automation, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, configure, and administer intranet IT infrastructure (On-premises & Cloud);
• Leverage AI-driven technologies to enhance system performance, automate operational tasks, and optimize resource utilization;
• Willing to join our engineering team at Viva.com HQ in Marousi, with physical presence. Communicate and collaborate with other teams;
• Research innovative technologies to find new and efficient ways to solve day to day challenges;
• Ensure secure and efficient operations by following design principles and leveraging DevOps methodologies.

Tech stack

We work primarily on Azure cloud, utilizing its SaaS, PaaS and IaaS including Azure Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint etc. Operating systems can range from Windows to Linux and we use scripting in all aspects of daily operations.

• Demonstrable previous experience (2+ years) as a Systems Engineer;
• Experience with AI-driven automation, including AI-powered monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance;
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration to enhance automation, scalability, and decision-making within cloud infrastructure;
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including deployment, resource administration and maintenance;
• Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Windows server administration;
• Demonstrable knowledge of Linux server administration (Ubuntu, Debian);
• Demonstrable knowledge of internet protocols (TCP/UDP, OSI model etc.);
• Excellent analytical and good problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
