We are looking for a System Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team. 

Areas of impact: System Engineering

Responsibilities: 

• Apply a model-based methodology for the analysis, design, development and validation of systems.

• Capture customer needs, define technical requirements (Stakeholder and System Level Requirements), and turn them into a feasible solution by proposing an architecture

• Defining the System level architecture and design within an Architectural Framework using appropriate modelling tools.

• Demonstrate the system performance through verification and tests

• Ensure system consistency: linking the correct lifecycle stages, control sub-systems compliance, operate trade-offs over discipline-based constraints, providing traceability matrix from the architecture and design to the requirements

• Anticipate and manage transversal technical and business issues and risks, arbitrate between solutions considering all aspects: reusability, optimization, risks, safety and performance.

• Elaborate and validate system specifications based on RBE (Requirement Based Engineering) or MBSE (Model Based System Engineering)

• Systems requirement definition using DOORS/CAMEO

• Allocate requirements to the rest of systems

• System IVV activities

Requirements:

• Systems Engineering experience with a background in delivering complex ITC systems – containing Infrastructures and software projects.

• Knowledge of MBSE (Model Based System Engineering), experience in one or more Architectural Framework (e.g. DODAF, NAF) is a plus

• Experience of using high level modelling languages (e.g. SysML, UML)

• Experience in using Sparx Enterprise ( nice to have)

• Experience in requirements engineering, experience with DOORS is advantageous

• Ability to express and document complex issues in an understandable way

• Knowledge and ability to work within an agile environment
