Job description

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to take ownership of complex multidisciplinary systems from early definition through integration, validation, and field deployment.

In this role, you will bridge hardware, software, algorithms, sensing, and mechanical engineering, ensuring that every part of the system works together to deliver reliable performance in real-world environments. This is a hands-on position that combines technical depth with a broad system perspective, where you will work closely with a small, experienced team to solve challenging engineering problems and drive innovative

You Will

  • Own the system throughout its full lifecycle, from requirements definition to integration, validation, and field performance.
  • Define and maintain system requirements, ensuring they are correctly implemented and traceable throughout development.
  • Develop system architecture, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
  • Drive multidisciplinary system integration across hardware, software, algorithms, sensing, and mechanical engineering.
  • Lead system-level design reviews and technical discussions across engineering teams.
  • Plan and execute system integration and validation activities.
  • Design and perform system-level experiments and testing to characterize performance and validate functionality.
  • Analyze system behavior, investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and drive effective solutions.
  • Develop and evaluate prototypes to support new features, technologies, and design improvements.
  • Make system-level technical decisions by balancing performance, reliability, complexity, and development constraints.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the system meets technical, operational, and customer requirements.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in multidisciplinary product development.
  • Experience working on complex physical systems combining hardware, sensing, embedded software, algorithms, and mechanical components.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements engineering, integration, and verification.
  • Experience defining system requirements and tracing them through design, integration, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with prototypes, laboratory equipment, measurement tools, and real system debugging.
  • Experience designing or executing system-level integration, testing, or validation activities.
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve cross-disciplinary system issues.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions in environments with incomplete information and evolving requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly document system behavior, technical decisions, and engineering trade-offs.
  • A structured, hands-on approach to problem solving, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
