Job Responsibilities:
Magna IT is looking for a talented Managed Workplace Services Engineer who can support Microsoft Intune. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in maintaining this system and ensuring secure and reliable operation in a fast-paced environment.
Major Responsibilities
  • Support Magna IT's Microsoft 365 services including MS Intune & EntraID
  • Technical support of Microsoft Intune and associated GPOs in on-prem AD
  • Review of global device compliance and assisting local IT to meet global device compliance goals
  • Regularly evaluate UEM/MDM system settings, policies and hardware
  • Creation of configuration profiles, compliance policies, GPOs etc.
  • Collaborate with other MIT members to support and assist in projects
  • Work closely with Divisional IT Admins to help driving adoption and proactively resolve issues
  • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide operative and administrative support for current and future projects
  • 2nd and 3rd level User support / ticket handling
  • Participation in on-call rotation

Knowledge and Education
  • Preferably Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a relevant field.
  • Completed education of a technical college.

Work Experience and Skills
  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience managing and configuring UEM/MDM Systems (preferably) Microsoft Intune
  • Experience managing mobile devices (iOS & Android) via MDM systems (preferably MS Intune)
  • Experience managing iOS, Android and Windows 11 based clients via UEM systems (preferably MS Intune)
  • Preferably Experience supporting major enterprise applications/cloud services as MS Intune, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft EntraID, etc.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office products
  • Good knowledge of iOS, Android, and Windows 11 operating systems required
  • Good understanding of Powershell scripting

Other Competencies
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Knowledge of client lifecycle management systems and current computing trends.
  • Effective English communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated technical matters to management, IT partners and the end users
  • Must be an independent problem solver with troubleshooting, decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
