Minimum Qualifications:
Experience Range: 6 to 10 years
Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience
Education/Certification: BA or BS Degree in an engineering discipline. Masters or PhD preferred.
Knowledge:
- Experience of system development following industry recognized processes (e.g. ARP4754)
- Familiarity with DO178, DO254 and DO160
- Knowledge of the general principles involved with the development of Transformer Rectifier
- Units, Power Conditioning Units, DC-DC Converters, Magnetics, Battery Chargers, Landing
- Gear Control and Indication Systems, Door and Slide Control and Indication Systems and Tire
- Pressure Monitoring Systems.
- Understands Systems Engineering principles, including interpreting and writing requirements,
- system architectures and designs
- Knowledge of requirements management, validation and verification.
- Familiarity with multi physics modeling and simulation (i.e. Simulink)
- Familiarity with circuit analysis and power supply topologies
- Familiarity with Software development lifecycle
Skills/Abilities
· Working knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) highly desirable
