Job Description

System Engineer (APM Administrator Team) - paczkomat® Network.

We are a dynamic company operating in the logistics industry that continues to develop its innovative approach to parcel delivery. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated System Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance and performance of our Automated Parcel Machines.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience as a system administrator, application administrator, or similar position
  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripts to automate and maintain the system
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools to ensure continuous APM performance
  • GSM: Familiarity with GSM technology used in cellular networks to ensure efficient communication between APMs and remote systems
  • Windows and IoT (Internet of Things): Experience with Windows operating systems and IoT technologies as they are integral to the operation of APM machines
  • Scripting languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash to automate system deployment and maintenance processes
  • Operating system administration tools: Familiarity with administrative tools including SSH, Telnet, PowerShell, to manage and maintain operating systems on APM machines
  • Experience in the administration of Linux Systems
  • Good knowledge of SQL (MSSQL, PostgeSQL) including constructing complex SQL queries
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level

Responsibilities:

Implementation and mantenancie:

  • Active participation in the installation and ongoing maintenance of APM to ensure their efficient and reliable operation
  • Actively participate in the process of updating the software of APM
  • Collaborate with APM's service and engineering teams to resolve technical problems and optimize system performance
  • Implement maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and ensure smooth APM operations

Automation:

  • Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline the deployment and maintenance of APM networks

Security:

  • Work with the security team to ensure APM follows security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Responding to security incidents related to APMs systems
