System Architect - Core Banking Domain Specialist

Role at Ericsson As a System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical capabilities and engagements within the banking segment of our product, marketed to both telecom and banking customers. You will be part of our R&D organization, leading the development of future architecture and functional capabilities, while working closely with business developers to accelerate market growth and build trust with new customers.
What you will do
- Develop functional and architectural innovations for the banking segment and communicate complex technical topics in a business-oriented language.
- Provide deep expertise on core banking functions including accounts, payments (SEPA, SWIFT, RTP), loans, deposits, interest calculations, and customer relationship management (KYC/AML).
- Offer insights into banking products and lifecycle management, covering product construction, pricing, accounting, and reporting.
- Leverage understanding of banking business processes such as clearing, reconciliation, and settlement to support architectural decisions.
- Translate business needs into architectural solutions and guide development aligned with customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams to strengthen our functional capabilities within the banking industry.
- Act as a technical advisor with Product Management to identify and address architecture and system gaps.
- Support business developers in growing the banking segment through technical expertise, innovative approaches, and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Inspire and lead teams with a self-driven, reliable, and engaging personality.

- Deep expertise in Core Banking and Digital Banking architecture and processes.
- Proven experience in banking solutions
- Strong experience in customer interaction, stakeholder management, solution presentations, and architectural consultancy.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to translate technical complexity for non-technical decision-makers.
- Reliable, engaged, and self-driven professional.
