What you will do:
- Lead an existing team of System Architects
- Lead cellular features research (e.g. rate adaptation, power control, scheduler, interference mitigation) and define the strategy for implementation
- Lead definition of performance and benchmark testing for lab and outdoor experiments
- Incorporate feedback from deployed systems into product improvements and technical roadmap
- Make sure that the team is engaged with the features from early research level, during implementation and integration toward release to customers
What knowledge should you have:
- Knowledge in wireless communication theory. Familiarity with at least one of the cellular standards, i.e. 2G/3G/LTE/LTE-Advanced/5G-NR.
- Knowledge in networking.
- Experienced system engineer, including specification definition, integration, SW development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment.
Education / Experience:
- Architecture Team Lead for 3 or more years – a must
- M.Sc / PhD with a major in communication theory and systems and/or signal processing – a must
- Architecture Group Lead – big advantage
