System Architect (AWS)Mumbai Duties and Responsibilities:1-Design and Architect Cloud Solutions:Develop and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS-based solutions.
2-AWS Platform Management:Configure and manage AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, TerraForm/Cloud Formation, VPC, and more.
3-Security and Compliance:Implement security controls, policies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and apply security best practices.
4-Optimization and Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize cloud services for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.Conduct cost analysis and ensure solutions align with budgetary goals.Perform ongoing monitoring, alerting, and scaling activities.
5-Collaboration and Leadership:Work closely with development teams to ensure cloud solutions support software applications and business needs.Provide guidance and mentorship to DevOps teams on AWS best practices.Lead architectural reviews of cloud designs and implementation of solutions.
Disaster Recovery and Backup &Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Design and implement disaster recovery solutions for cloud infrastructure.Develop and test backup and recovery strategies and Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for AWS-based environments.Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
o Strong experience in DevOps practices, including automation, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
o Excellent understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring tools.
o Familiarity with s languages like Java, Spring Boot, Rush or Python.
o Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL/Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
o Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
o Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is highly preferred.
