What You Will Achieve
You r knowledge of informatics will help in support ing R&D through development, support and validation of computer systems. Y ou will be required to generate high-quality assay data in a regulated cGLP ( current Good laboratory Practice) laboratory setting to support Pfizer's Research programs and design harmonized process es . With a combination of your technical and documentation skills , you will v alidate documents related to regulatory support for the Research D epartment's software solutions.

How You Will Achieve It
- Contribute to completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
- Assist in the Development of Laboratory Data Systems .
- Collaborate with the QIDO team on the implementation/validation of data systems .
- Analyze user requirements, models and specifications in order to convert them to technical solutions.
- Attend regular meetings with functional area leaders to review and monitor various data system projects.
- Contribute to end-user requirements documents for various data systems .
- Support the end-user testing of various data system builds against end-user requirements to ensure that these systems function as intended.
- Create system validations plans and test cases for validating solutions .
- Execute test plans (test scripts), provide documented evidence, report issues (recorded deviations) and verify fixes .
- Review and approve various standard operating procedures (SOPs), as assigned .
- Author, review and approve technical reports, as assigned .
- Design, build, configure, program and/or validate computer code, master data, reports, forms and interfaces .
- Follow change management processes for routine changes, for example change controls.
- Provide day-to-day end-user support and take a leadership role in monitoring "help desk" support queue.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Bio Informatics, Information Technology or related fields), w ith 0 to 2 years of experience
- U nderstanding of web development technologies and/or scripting languages .
- K nowledge of the software validation lifecycle (SDLC) .
- U nderstanding of data collection/analysis, MS Excel and/or MS Office.
- Good written and verbal communication skills .
Nice-to-Have
- Deep knowledge of various programming languages, computer architecture and/or algorithms
- Experience with LIMS Systems
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Experience with designing and developing databases .
- Knowledge of the software validation lifecycle .
Work Location Assignment: On premise
On Premise colleagues work in a Pfizer site because it's needed to get their job done. They may have flexibility to work remotely from time to time, but they are primarily on-site.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
