Who we are
With its A.I.-powered robotic technology platform, Symbotic is changing the way consumer goods move through the supply chain. Intelligent software orchestrates advanced robots in a high-density, end-to-end system – reinventing warehouse automation for increased efficiency, speed and flexibility.
What we need
The Smartsheet Systems Analyst supports the Project Management Organization by administering, optimizing, and extending the Symbotic Smartsheet portfolio and by maintaining the company facing plan of record dashboards. Working under the direction of Scheduling leadership, this role builds and maintains the sheets, workflows, and reporting infrastructure that keep portfolio data accurate, connected, and visible to stakeholders across the business. The role pairs hands-on Smartsheet development with dashboard upkeep in Power BI, where plan of record reporting is fed from Smartsheet sources.
What we do
The PMO enables Symbotic’s Project Execution organization by building operating mechanisms that improve predictable delivery: standardized governance, cross-functional coordination, portfolio transparency, and continuous improvement. We accelerate execution by clarifying ownership, improving decision cycles, and deploying scalable systems and ways of working that help teams deliver on Symbotic’s organizational pillars - Deliver Budget, Elevate Talent, and Invest in Development.
What you'll do
Build and maintain custom sheets, intake forms, RAID logs, and dynamic KPI dashboards that support portfolio operations.
Maintain and update the company facing plan of record dashboards in Power BI, including the Smartsheet data sources that feed them, so that published reporting stays accurate and current.
Configure automated multi-step workflows, alerts, data consolidation, and cross-project linkages using tools such as DataMesh, Data Shuttle, and Bridge.
Administer user accounts, permissions, workspace structures, and license allocation under the direction of Scheduling leadership, including deployments managed through Smartsheet Control Center.
Guide non-technical stakeholders and internal champions on best practices for daily use and long-term platform adoption, including documentation and hands-on support.
Support the execution of the PMO's AI-enabled Smartsheet roadmap, including gathering user input and helping implement approved enhancements.
Build strong working relationships with partner organizations, including implementation, engineering, and installation, so that platform improvements reflect all perspectives.
What you need
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on Smartsheet configuration and development experience, ideally in a technically demanding environment with a focus on user experience and process improvement.
Smartsheet Professional Certification or System Administrator credentials are a plus.
Proficiency in Smartsheet, including advanced formulas, cross-sheet references, reports, data aggregation, and Smartsheet AI tools.
Experience connecting Smartsheet with external platforms such as Power BI, Jira, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace.
Working knowledge of Power BI sufficient to maintain and update existing dashboards and their data connections.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable configurations.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with guidance available, along with a willingness to raise questions and flag issues early.
Experience with Smartsheet Control Center in a multi-project or portfolio environment is a plus.
Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and tools, with an interest in applying them to project and portfolio operations.
Exposure to PMO, scheduling, or project controls environments.
