Job Summary: Configures, administers, and supports assigned applications, systems, third-party software, and interfaces that enable business operations and customer service. Provides tier-1 support for assigned systems by researching known issues, following documented troubleshooting and maintenance procedures, supporting routine configuration and access activities, and escalating more complex or unfamiliar issues to vendors, System Analyst II, or supervisor as appropriate. Essential Functions: All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

• Serves as System Administrator for assigned applications, and performs routine configuration, access, file maintenance, and support activities following established processes.

• Provides tier-1 support for assigned systems, research known issues, follows documented troubleshooting steps, and escalates more complex or unfamiliar issues to a vendor, Tier II, or supervisor.

• Develops, maintains, and adheres detailed system data flow diagrams and procedures necessary for systems functionality, support, and future product enhancements.  

• Supports the continuity of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes necessary for assigned applications and products. 

• Assists with gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements; helps translate business needs into functional system changes with guidance from Vendor, Analyst II, and / or Supervisor.

• Performs assigned analysis of system integrations, workflows, processes, and system functionality to identify issues, improvement opportunities, and recommendations for review by vendor, Analyst II, and / or Supervisor.

• Identifies opportunities to improve routine work, reduce manual effort, or improve user experience and communicates those opportunities to appropriate team members or leaders.

• Works closely with business units to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives.

• Participates on project teams and supports planning, testing, documentation, deployment, implementation, and post-implementation support for system enhancements.

• Assists in routine system testing, user training, user documentation, procedure maintenance, and implementation support for enhancements/upgrades to applications and systems. 

• Maintains current knowledge of assigned applications, document procedures, and seeks support and training from vendor, Analyst IIs, and supervisor when needed. 

• Works internally with users of assigned systems and externally with strategic bank partners and 3rd party vendors to support applications use and issues resolution. 

Education and Experience: Some college and/or 0-2 years related job experience preferred. Minimum 1-year previous banking experience is preferred. 1-3 years’ experience with computer systems preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Requires foundational knowledge of banking products, business processes, assigned systems, third-party applications, and interfaces, with the ability to build technical knowledge through training, documentation, and hands-on support. Must be able to follow documented procedures, troubleshoot routine issues, support standard configuration, testing, documentation, training, and implementation activities, and escalate complex or unfamiliar issues as appropriate. Good problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills are required, including the ability to explain system information clearly to business users and technology partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. 

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None.

Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to hear and speak clearly both face-to-face and over the phone.  Must be able to use hands to key information and handle objects. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions: Normal office conditions. Some travel required.

Skills Required

  • Some college and/or 0–2 years of related job experience
