Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data structures and business processes in the legacy CBS and Temenos CBS.
- Prepare data mapping specifications between the systems.
- Define and document transformation rules (data mapping, data cleansing, enrichment).
- Participate in agreeing on data export/import formats with vendors (Foranx, Temenos, etc.).
- Support the development and testing of ETL scripts.
- Assist with migration activities on UAT and Pre-Production environments.
- Perform data validation after migration (comparison of balances, customer profiles, transactions).
- Manage exceptions identified during the migration process.
- Maintain documentation in Confluence / SharePoint and participate in planning activities via Jira.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst in banking or fintech projects.
- Hands-on participation in at least one full-scale data migration project (Core Banking, CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of banking domain concepts such as customers, accounts, transactions, and balances.
- Strong skills in gathering and formalizing requirements (BRD, FRD, transformation specifications).
- Ability to work with large volumes of reference data and complex data tables.
- Good understanding of relational database structures and confident SQL skills.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and the overall data migration lifecycle.
- Experience with Temenos CBS (preferred) or other Core Banking Systems is a plus.
- Confident user of Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Understanding of data exchange formats like CSV, XML, and JSON.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors and distributed teams is a plus.
