About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing and standardizing technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities
You will work with the Shared Platform team and be responsible for understanding their business requirements and translating them to functional specifications and technical design specifications. Key objective is to ensure good quality and smooth delivery of system enhancements that are fully in compliance with mandated framework and guidelines. You will be expected to partner closely with the Shared Platform leads to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
Other responsibilities include:
Analyzing and developing high-quality functional specifications from business requirements, while understanding dependencies and impacts on related projects
Coordinating with stakeholders from business, operations, development, and testing teams to ensure timely delivery
Overseeing system analysis activities to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project schedules
Addressing and resolving functional issues
Ensuring functional knowledge is effectively communicated to technical teams for quality testing
Supporting the testing phase to ensure functional requirements are met
Engaging system vendors as needed to clarify business requirements and functionalities throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements
Familiarity with Banking processes, process modelling and UI design will be an added advantage
Familiarity with AML (Anti Money Laundering) processes will be an added advantage
Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle Process)
Experience of gathering functional and non-functional requirements and incorporating in design
Proficiency in writing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents).
Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and system integration concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
