The Opportunity -
Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting one of the world's most advanced maritime patrol aircraft programs? As a Systems Administrator on the P8A Poseidon team, you'll be managing and maintaining a diverse range of IT systems that keep our military customer mission ready.
This role is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
As a System Australia within BDA, you will
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Carry out patching and system hardening.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues.
- Document and track system configuration.
- Assist in the design of new solutions.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (CISCO,TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of cyber security frameworks.
