THE OPPORTUNITY
Boeing Defence Australia are seeking an Aviation Technical Training Specialist to provide Avionics courseware development, and delivery of instructional activities at RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA.
As subject matter experts, Aviation Technical Training Specialists will be responsible for:
  • P-8A Avionics Maintenance courseware delivery for ongoing sustainment activities and train the trainer coach/mentoring tasks for emerging P-8A fleet support.
  • Analysing P-8A technical requirements in the design and development of new maintenance training solutions, working collaboratively with our P-8A Enterprise stakeholders.
  • Ensuring P-8A courseware and curriculum meets Boeing Defence Australia training policy, Defence Learning requirements, and DASA mandated licensing and authorisation outcomes.
  • Conducting learning review and continuous improvement tasks, ensuring accuracy and relevance of courseware.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have experience in the following fields to complement our team:
  • B737NG Avionics Systems
  • Airborne Radar Systems
  • Electronic Warfare Systems
  • Acoustic Warfare Systems
  • P-8A - Unique Mission and Avionics Systems
  • Experience operating within and interpreting DASR 145, 147 and 66 Maintenance, Training and Licensing requirements
  • Instructor and Courseware Development skills

Essential Requirements:
  • MEA40618 Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics).
  • P-8A or B737NG Type Certification with a B2 MAML or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of Avionics Maintenance experience.
  • Minimum NV1 Security Clearance
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements
