Job DescriptionSupport and operate our Microsoft cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Azure) with a strong emphasis on automation and security-by-design. The role partners closely with Application Owners, Developers, and the Security team to administer cloud infrastructure, apply best practices and policies, and implement configuration changes or mitigations when required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 tenant (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business).
- Create, configure, and manage user accounts, mailboxes, groups, and access permissions.
- Apply security-by-design principles to Microsoft 365 configurations in collaboration with the Security team and IT Governance.
2. Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management
- Configure and manage devices via Microsoft Intune (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
- Deploy applications, configure policies, enforce compliance, and monitor device posture.
- Troubleshoot endpoint-related issues and incidents; drive policy consistency across managed devices.
3. Identity & Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID)
- Administer identities and access controls in Entra ID.
- Manage Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), and role-based access control (RBAC) in alignment with corporate policies.
- Integrate Entra ID securely with third-party or on-premises systems in partnership with relevant teams.
4. Azure Cloud Administration
- Manage Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure App Services.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, costs, and security.
- Implement Azure RBAC, Network Security Groups, and cloud governance/security policies.
5. Automation & Scripting
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
- Develop, maintain, and document scripts to streamline Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Azure operations.
- Champion automation and continuous improvement; design processes that are auditable, resilient, and scalable.
6. Projects, Integration & Migration
- Support migration of workloads, emails, and applications to Microsoft 365 or Azure from legacy systems.
- Integrate Microsoft cloud services with ERP/CRM/HRIS or other business platforms.
- Participate in architecture and infrastructure improvement initiatives; contribute operational requirements and automation approaches.
7. Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and topology diagrams.
- Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end users on Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Azure usage & governance.
Education
> Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
> 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Azure environments, with demonstrable automation achievements (e.g., PowerShell-driven workflows).
Technical Skills
> Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
> Microsoft Intune MDM/MAM configuration and policy management.
> Identity and access management via Microsoft Entra ID.
> Azure administration (VMs, networking, storage, RBAC; cost/performance monitoring).
> Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation; familiarity with APIs and CLI tooling.
> Understanding of security-by-design principles and the operational impact of configuration changes and mitigations.
Preferred Qualifications
> Experience in hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud).
> Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
> Certifications (nice to have): Microsoft Certified MS‑100, MS‑101, MD‑102, SC‑300, AZ‑104.
