iKnowHow Group is a leading Software & Robotics Solutions group of companies operating internationally for approximately 23 years.
We are now looking for an experienced System Administrator with strong technical skills and solid working experience to work in new challenging outsourced projects.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RHEL) ensuring uptime and security.
- Write and execute SQL / DB queries for troubleshooting, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Create Python and PowerShell scripts to automate setup, configuration, and log/investigation processes.
- Monitor system performance, backups, and updates.
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline deployments and operations.
- Document procedures, configurations, and automation tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong background in Linux system administration.
- Excellent command of SQL and database querying.
- Scripting experience in Python and/or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of system monitoring and incident investigation tools.
- Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
