Primary Objectives
1. Determine Specifications for Infrastructure Solutions & Provide Long Term Recommendations
2. Implement & Maintain Complex Server & Network Infrastructure (Both Cloud and On Prem)
3. Identify & Implement Efficiencies through System Enhancements
4. Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity & Security Monitor
5. Oversight of System Documentation
Responsibilities
1. Gather and analyze business requirements to design and optimize both on-premise and cloud-bases (Azure) infrastructure solutions. Provide strategic recommendations and long range (3 to 5 year) plans for scaling, upgrading, and evolving these environments in alignment with organizational goals
2. Regularly patch and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure and endpoints. Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities identified by security tools (e.g., Tenable), ensuring secure and reliable operations
3. Manage file and server backups. Perform regular testing of disaster recovery plan & updating DR documentation. Respond to security incidents as needed
4. Oversight of Server & Software Documentation
5. Mentoring and Jr. System Administrator and/or Desktop Technicians and managing any ticket escalations
Required Knowledge & Skills
1. Strong emphasis on disaster recovery and business continuity
2. Strong customer service skills
3. Excellent organizational & written communication skills
4. Ability and willingness to travel to remote sites as needed (>10%)
5. Experience with the following:
Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Powershell)
Azure & Cloud Services (Entra IS, O365, Azure Virtual Desktops)
Cisco Routing and Switching
VM Ware/vSphere/ESXi
Cisco or Microsoft certifications strongly preferred (CCNA, MCSA or equivalent)
For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$60,000 - $100,000/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
