Job Description
The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:
- Run and support the infrastructure solutions in the most effective way (day and on-call night & week-end support).
- Administer, optimize and tune the servers and related components to ensure high availability of the various business applications.
- Diagnose and fix incidents as quickly as possible, and make sure that the root cause analyses are done to prevent problems and resulting incidents from happening, as well as to eliminate recurring incidents.
- Maintain up to date the infrastructure inventory for what is relevant (technical inventory & technical guides and processes).
- Deal with multiple incidents/tasks simultaneously.
- Actively participate in all areas of daily operations involving several technologies such as Windows Server, VMWare, and storage.
- Work in collaboration with different teams (Architecture, Global Network, Messaging, Databases, and Applications etc.)
- Proactive detection, troubleshooting and resolution of systems issues.
- Be compliant with the ITIL processes in place in Re:Sources (Incident, Problem, Patch, Change, Release and deployment)
- Develop a good working relationship with peers across the organization and work closely with the various IT functions in the Region.
- Adapt working hours to fit agreed business requirements.
- On-call availability, occasional overtime and weekend work; sitting for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications/Certifications
- Degree holder of IT
- Minimum 1 year of IT experience
- IT Certification on Server and OS related is preferred
- Azure Certification is preferred
Work Experience
- Any of below Data Center Co-location support experience
- Hardware device rack mount and dismount
- Inter-rack cabling
- Fiber and UTP cable patching
- Cisco UCS Blade Server hardware support
- Dell/HPE Rack Mount Server hardware support
- HPE tape library hardware support
- Dell EMC storage hardware support experience is preferred
- Windows Server Environment (Active Directory, GPO)
- VMWare Virtual Environment is preferred
- Enterprise Monitoring and ISM tool
- Enterprise Antivirus Solution
- Azure cloud experience is preferred
- Veeam DR experience is preferred
Additional Information
Knowledge
- Windows Clustering
- IIS Web services
- LAN and VPN
- Authentication: SSL, Active Directory, SSH, DNS, DHCP
- FTP, SFTP setup and access management
- Database Knowledge (MySQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge in SAN / NAS / SAN Switches
- Any knowledge in scripting is an advantage

- Ability to conduct research into systems/ OS issues as required
- Effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills
