Job Description

The System Administrator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the platform infrastructure.

The work:

  • Perform hands-on system administration tasks, including managing user accounts, permissions, and system configurations in accordance with established operational policies.
  • Implement and maintain system monitoring tools, configure and manage backup and recovery systems, and automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and automation tools.
  • Conduct regular system health checks, apply system updates and patches to mitigate vulnerabilities, and serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • The System Administrator will maintain system documentation, monitor system logs for performance and security anomalies, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 platform availability.

Must have:

    • Advanced Degree:
      • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
