Everforth ECS is seeking a System Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise systems to ensure operational availability and stability.
- Implement and manage system configurations and updates to maintain compliance and security.
- Monitor system performance metrics and health indicators to proactively address potential issues.
- Lead incident response and resolution efforts to minimize downtime and maintain service integrity.
- Enforce STIG and cybersecurity compliance requirements across all systems.
- Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise continuity.
- Support RMF sustainment and change management processes to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system administration processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience administering enterprise systems within DoD or Federal DoDIN-connected environments
- Proven experience in system updates, configuration management, and patch compliance
- Experience in performance monitoring and incident resolution for secure enterprise services
- Familiarity with RMF sustainment and change management processes
