Our focus is on designing, manufacturing and distributing products for automotive, diesel, power-sports and specialty filter markets.
We are excited to announce that we are hiring a System Administrator for our Albion, IL location. The System Administrator assists in ensuring integrity, availability, and security of the company’s IT infrastructure by installing and configuring the infrastructure and supporting infrastructure enterprise systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Administer Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including user accounts, groups, permissions, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and licensing.
- Utilize Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot for endpoint deployment, software distribution, and device management.
- Serve as the Tier II/Tier III escalation point for Help Desk support.
- Troubleshoot server, desktop, application, and network issues.
- Perform system patching, updates, and preventative maintenance for servers and workstations.
- Support ERP user account administration and access management.
- Assist Customer Service and Sales teams with EDI connectivity and customer interface issues.
- Monitor system performance and respond to infrastructure alerts.
- Assist in maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support network security by following established security standards and assisting with remediation efforts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and deploy computers, software, and equipment for new employees.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot preferred.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience supporting ERP systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with EDI is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience and technical certifications will be considered.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows server and desktop environments.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), and endpoint management solutions preferred.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required.
