Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and motivated Linux & Nutanix Infrastructure Lead to join our Data Center Services team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our compute infrastructure, managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Nutanix environments, handling Level 2 technical escalations, and leading a team of data center technicians to ensure seamless service delivery within established service level agreements.
You will join a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced infrastructure team dedicated to maintaining high availability, executing disaster recovery strategies, and delivering exceptional technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Infrastructure Management & Optimization: Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Nutanix environments, including Acropolis Operating System and Acropolis Hypervisor, while implementing best practice architecture guidelines and orchestrating cross-platform migrations.
System Monitoring & Remediation: Proactively monitor compute alerts using tools like Paessler Router Traffic Grapher and Zoho, handle Level 2 technical escalations, and troubleshoot performance, availability, and database issues.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of data center technicians, and coordinate with server, network, and virtualization teams to ensure service deliveries fulfill Service Level Agreements.
Process Compliance & Disaster Recovery: Execute IT Infrastructure Library processes—including Incident, Problem, and Change Management—prepare Root Cause Analysis documentation, and plan and execute Disaster Recovery drills.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in Data Center infrastructure and Linux systems management.
Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (8/CentOS/Ubuntu), Nutanix products, database fine-tuning (MySQL/Microsoft SQL/PostgreSQL), and network technologies like Virtual Private Clouds, proxies, and load balancing.
Proven ability in automation scripting, DevOps methodologies, and handling Level 2 technical escalations with quick diagnostic problem-solving skills.
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is required; IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the flexibility to participate in a 24/7/365 roster, on-call rotations, and emergency response.
Shifts: Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 roster and on-call rotation.
Location: Rabale, Navi Mumbai (Full-time, Permanent).
