Job Overview
Responsible for developing and improving Sparks Swim’s swimming curriculum for Baby–Kids programs. This role ensures consistent teaching standards across all centers by developing lesson plans, assessment tools, and coach training programs. The Curriculum Specialist also supports program improvement, coach development, and new center openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine swim curriculum across all levels (Baby-Kids)
- Align program with international standards (e.g., SSI, STA, AUSTSWIM) and local adaptation.
- Develop training modules for coaches (theory & practical).
- Develop training modules for coaches (theory & practical).
- Build teaching scripts and class flow standards (Intro–Main–Closing).
- Improve lesson structure based on data (NPS, trial conversion, retention rate).
- Create appraisal cards & assessment forms per level.
- Develop swim handbook & teaching SOP.
- Work closely with Operations, CX, and Growth.
- Support parent education materials (FAQs, Do & Don’ts, Swim Guide).
- Submit structured equipment requests to Procurement with clear specifications, quantity planning, and usage justification per level.
Qualifications
- Background in Sports Science / Physical Education / Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in swim coaching (baby & kids preferred).
- Experience in curriculum design or training module development.
- Familiar with international swim standards (SSI/STA/AUSTSWIM preferred).
- Water safety & drowning prevention
- Able to work in multi-center, fast-growing environment.
- SSI Instructor / Swim Teacher certification.
- Experience opening new swim center.
- Experience building internal training academy.
Skills Required
