Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA is looking for SW Tech Lead to Leading the SW team of current and future generation products. Responsibility of machines SW in industry leading multidisciplinary systems.
What your job will look like
- Hands on software development using C#/C++, OOD design and scripting on top of Windows and Linux environment in a multi discipline product.
- Working with Project Managers, System, Algo and Application Engineers, build workplans (short terms and long terms), promote innovation and SW methodologies, gate for the team quality.
- Participate in all stages of software development including requirements definition/review, coding, release, integration and customer and support.
- Take ownership of assigned design and development tasks for current and future generation of products.
- Interact with multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithm, system and application to enhance system capabilities and troubleshoot system issue.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong software design skills (scalable, maintainable, modular systems)
- Proven experience in Tech Lead roles
- Proven experience in large, multidisciplinary systems with multiple stakeholders
- Deep understanding of OOP principles and Operating Systems concepts (threads, synchronization, memory, IPC)
- Proficiency in C++ or C#
- Strong hands-on experience working in Linux environments
Advantages:

- Background in real-time (RT) systems
- Strong multithreading and concurrency experience
- System integration and debugging of complex, cross-component issues
