Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Software Quality Assurance (SW QA) Intern to join our Quality Engineering team. The intern will work alongside experienced QA Engineers and Software Developers to validate software quality, support automation initiatives, and explore the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve testing effectiveness and regression efficiency.

This internship offers hands-on experience in software testing, test automation, AI-assisted quality engineering, and Agile development practices. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and excited about applying new technologies to solve quality challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Execute manual and automated test cases for software applications.

  • Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.

  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure product stability.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation.

  • Participate in requirement reviews to identify test scenarios and quality risks.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Test Automation

  • Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.

  • Execute automated regression tests and analyze test results.

  • Contribute to improving automation coverage and testing efficiency.

  • Assist in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

AI-Powered Quality Engineering

  • Explore and evaluate AI tools and technologies that can improve software testing productivity.

  • Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted tools to: Generate test cases from requirements and user stories. Improve regression test coverage and efficiency. Assist in defect analysis and root cause investigation. Create and maintain test automation scripts. Analyze test results and identify quality trends.

  • Participate in proof-of-concept projects focused on AI-driven testing solutions.

  • Recommend innovative approaches to enhance QA processes through AI adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology Computer Engineering Or a related technical field

  • Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • High attention to detail and passion for software quality.

  • Eagerness to learn emerging technologies, including AI applications in software engineering.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.

  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.

  • Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.

  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies.

  • Understanding of source control tools such as Git.

  • Exposure to Jira, Azure DevOps, or other test and defect management tools.
