SW Engineer III (f/t)

Job Description:

Integrating systems with third party services and components by ensuring that the subsystems function together as one application in order to improve the product features and performance; Managing application data using SQL server databases in order to analyze, solve and correct system’s behavior, availability, security, and functionalities. This includes running SQL queries to configure and manage data, create database backups, and ensure data integrity; Installing, configuring, and managing application server(s) by using virtualization tools and computing tools in order to manage and monitor the application and resources; Managing web services by using tools like IIS (Internet Information Services) in order to host web applications in the system; Troubleshooting applications using skills in programming and configuration, and use of other diagnostics tools in order to solve customer issues; Defining set up and managing network requirements for the applications to run and interact with various components in order to troubleshoot and resolve communication issues; Understanding business logic and functionality of APIs used in the systems in order to make sure that services meet expectations for functionality, reliability, performance, and security; Designing, implementing, and managing test automation in the software in order to ensure and improve product quality along with improved reliability and reusability; Training and supporting customers by doing technical workshops and training programs on how to install, program, and troubleshoot the application in order to promote the product and create customer awareness and satisfaction; Engaging and contributing to overall product lifecycle by providing inputs and enhancement requests based on Customer feedback in order to improve product usability; and Position is eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field and 4 years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation. Experience must include:

  • 4 years of experience integrating systems with third party services and components.
  • 4 years of experience managing application data using SQL server databases.
  • 4 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing test automation in the software.
  • 4 years of experience defining set up and managing network requirements for the applications.
  • 4 years of experience troubleshooting applications using skills in programming and configuration.
  • 4 years of experience training and supporting customers by doing technical workshops and training programs.

OR

Master's degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field and 2 years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation. Experience must include:

  • 2 years of experience with Integrating systems with third party services and components.
  • 2 years of experience managing application data using SQL server databases.
  • 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing test automation in the software.
  • 2 years of experience defining set up and managing network requirements for the applications
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting applications using skills in programming and configuration.
  • 2 years of experience training and supporting customers by doing technical workshops and training programs.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree will be accepted. References required.

Work location: 864 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Annual salary range: $132,190 to $174,000.
