As a NXP Internship Student collaborating with a highly talented and dynamic team that develops and tests TouchSense SW Tools, a Visual environment for NXP TouchSense Solution, featuring visualization, configuration, and debug capabilities for the embedded TouchSense Solution. As a NXP Internship Student, you will work with the software ecosystem around embedded devices, with a special focus on TouchSense SW Tools development. You will be exposed to different software technologies and software development phases.
Your responsibilities
- Development of complex software tools/automated tests enabling our TouchSense Solution
- Understand the software development processes and follow the full product development cycle, from requirements definition to release to customers.
- Understand the Automotive market and how software products we develop are going to transform it
Who we’re looking for
To ensure your success in this role, the following experience is needed:
- University studies in progress in a technical field such as: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.
- Basis knowledge of TypeScript and of static typing in Javascript applications
- Basic experience building front-end application with React framework
- Basic understanding of NodeJS platform
- Basic knowledge in low-level data manipulation, including bitwise operations and hexadecimal formats
- Nice to have: beginner-level in C/C++
- Nice to have: Version Control Systems (Git)
- Good collaboration skills and working in teams
- Fluency in English written and spoken
- Agile / scrum methodology basic knowledge.
- Good team player.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Our team
Our team is part of Automotive Processing group and is responsible of development and testing of NXP TouchSense Solution, including the TouchSense SW Tools. The team is in Romania, but we collaborate with other local and global team members, while demonstrating independence in solving problems and agility in switching tasks as per project priorities. We use Agile methodology for our products development and implement Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment practices.
