ABOUT THE ROLE
The SVP, Senior Research Analyst will perform bottom-up fundamental equity research, with a focus on public energy companies and power infrastructure sectors. They will purpose buy and sell recommendations across a variety of market capitalization ranges. The position is responsible for participating in research groups and other team-based projects.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Maintain a high-level understanding of energy, power and infrastructure markets with responsibility of locating, gathering, and analyzing energy data to provide information and analysis to the business and clients.
- Independently and thoughtfully conduct equity research by analyzing and forecasting financial statements, conducting industry and competitive analysis, and other methods of due diligence.
- Apply valuation analysis to fundamental models.
- Generate, develop, and present new investment ideas as well as monitor current investments for all active US Equities strategies.
- Convey information verbally and through written notes and reports, including investment idea write ups and quarterly company updates.
- Conduct due diligence with company management and investor relations personnel.
- Other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum Education Required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorship is available.

- CFA Preferred
- Minimum Specific Experience Required
- 15+ years of equity research experience; with knowledge of energy sectors.
