Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Vice President - Relationship Manager (SVP-RM) to lead and expand our institutional client relationships within the ASEAN region, with a specific focus on Indonesia. This role involves driving revenue growth, deepening client engagement, and strategically positioning United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) as a preferred financial partner.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute comprehensive relationship management strategies to acquire, retain, and grow a portfolio of key institutional clients across the ASEAN region, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian market.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, cross-selling UOB's full suite of products and services, including corporate finance, treasury, trade finance, cash management, and investment solutions.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
* Lead complex deal origination and execution, coordinating with internal product specialists, credit risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless client delivery.
* Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes within ASEAN and Indonesia to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Maintain a strong understanding of UOB's product capabilities and risk appetite, ensuring all client activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
* Prepare and present compelling proposals, pitches, and financial solutions to senior client stakeholders.
* Mentor and guide junior relationship managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.
* Achieve agreed-upon financial targets, including revenue, loan growth, and fee income.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
* Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in corporate banking, institutional banking, or relationship management, with a significant portion dedicated to the ASEAN region and specifically Indonesia.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a substantial portfolio of institutional clients, demonstrating strong revenue generation capabilities.
* Deep understanding of the financial landscape, regulatory environment, and business culture within ASEAN, particularly Indonesia.
* Extensive experience in originating and executing complex financial transactions across various product lines.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
* Willingness to travel frequently within the ASEAN region.
