THE JOB:

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Revenue Management is a strategic thought leader responsible for driving the Company's hotel's commercial performance through data-driven revenue optimization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and technology, tasked with transforming market insights, consumer behavior data, and pricing intelligence into actionable strategies that maximize profitability across all revenue streams.

With oversight of pricing for all segments, revenue management systems, and a high-performing analytics and data science team, the SVP leads a center of excellence that informs key business decisions across the enterprise. This position is not only a technical expert in pricing and forecasting but also a strategic partner to executive leadership, capable of translating complex data into clear, forward-thinking business strategy.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Build, develop, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of revenue managers, pricing analysts, and data scientists.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability. Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure the team delivers impactful business outcomes.

  • Design and implement dynamic pricing strategies all segments. Ensuring pricing decisions are rooted in market intelligence, customer segmentation, and total revenue optimization principles.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, properties, and other teams across the organization to align pricing with demand generation efforts.

  • Oversee the development of robust forecasting models and scenario planning frameworks that inform inventory controls, staffing, and long-range planning. Continuously refine forecasting methodologies using historical performance, current trends, and predictive analytics.

  • Champion the use of analytics, business intelligence, and data science to uncover trends, optimize channel mix, and drive strategic decisions. Guide the development of dashboards, KPIs, and models that support real-time and long-term revenue decisions.

  • Act as a key advisor to the C-suite and functional leaders by translating data into insights and insights into action. Present strategic recommendations on pricing, performance, and market opportunities in executive meetings and board-level discussions.

  • Oversee the optimization, integration, and utilization of revenue management systems (RMS), forecasting tools, and analytics platforms. Ensure system capabilities are maximized and aligned with enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure revenue strategies are aligned across departments. Facilitate joint planning, strategy sessions, and performance reviews that drive collective accountability and commercial success.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

  • 8+ years of prior relevant experience.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships of trust and confidence at all levels of the enterprise from front-line to executive-level employees, and to use appropriate discretion in handling of confidential information.
