About the role:
As the SVP, Product you will lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for all digital and media products. You will play a critical role in shaping the company’s content, distribution, and engagement strategies, driving innovation across media platforms, and ensuring that our products resonate with our target audiences. You will oversee product development from ideation to launch, continuously improving the user experience and aligning product offerings with the company’s strategic goals.

Day to day responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Define and drive the overall product vision and strategy for the company’s portfolio of media products, including websites, mobile apps, streaming services, and other digital platforms
- Innovation and Market Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, driving innovation in content delivery, user experience, and engagement
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and mentor a talented product team to ensure product roadmaps align with the company’s goals and user needs
- User-Centric Approach: Develop a deep understanding of the audience, ensuring that products meet their needs, expectations, and engagement patterns
- Revenue Growth and Monetization: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with monetization strategies, including advertising models, subscription services, and partnerships
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics, market research, and user feedback to optimize product performance and inform product decisions
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing iteration, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality product experiences
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly present product roadmaps, key initiatives, and results to the executive leadership team, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
- Collaboration: Partner with editorial, content, marketing, sales, and technology teams to create cohesive product experiences that drive audience growth and retention
Skills:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in product management working in the media industry, specifically in digital content delivery, streaming services, or media tech; with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a media company or digital content platform
- Industry Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of media landscapes, including OTT platforms, streaming, digital content distribution, and audience engagement
- Leadership: You have a proven track record of leading and inspiring cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Technical Acumen: Knowledge of digital product development, including agile methodologies, UX/UI design principles, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, data analytics, personalization)
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution, ensuring that product development is both innovative and aligned with the company’s strategic goals
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong understanding of analytics tools and a data-driven approach to product management
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex product concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaboration: Experience working closely with marketing, sales, technology, and editorial teams to deliver cohesive and profitable product experiences
