The Role and What You’ll Do:
This role is for a Senior Vice President will play a senior leadership role across primary functions of the agency and its delivery around the world, providing leadership on key accounts, including a leadership role on a global client in terms of portfolio and account team, responsible for setting vision, driving strategy, and leading execution across a global portfolio of brand partnerships and cultural marketing initiatives. The team develops, implements, and manages integrated Brand Initiatives for corporate clients and business units, rooted in culture—including sports, entertainment, music, and business-to-business platforms.
As a senior leader, this role will shape partnership strategy at the highest level, oversee complex, multi-market engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. The SVP will lead cross-functional teams spanning marketing, advertising, social, experiential, and digital, ensuring seamless integration and measurable business impact.
The position is based in New York, and reports to Executive Vice President.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of multiple high-profile client partnerships and sponsorship portfolios, including complementary experiential marketing activations across Entertainment, Sports, and B2B verticals
• Set the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for client cultural marketing programs, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and brand priorities
• Serve as a senior client counselor, advising on the evolving communications, media, and cultural landscape to drive relevance, innovation, and growth
• Lead the development, execution, and measurement of partnership ROI, leveraging data, analytics, and insights to inform strategy, optimize performance, and demonstrate impact against KPIs
• Serve as business operator with depth in analytics including margins, eOiciencies, burn rates and overall account profitability.
• Oversee integrated account strategy, including planning, coordination, execution, and performance evaluation across all partnership initiatives
• Act as the central point of connectivity across all partnerships-focused work between 160over90 and clients globally, maintaining visibility across regions, teams, and workstreams
• Partner closely with integrated account leadership and senior agency counterparts to ensure cohesive, cross-channel delivery
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new partnership opportunities at global, national, and regional levels, including pitching new platforms and leading complex negotiations
• Lead high-level property, talent, and rights-holder negotiations, managing escalations and ensuring favorable outcomes for clients
• Provide industry expertise, insights, and forward-looking perspectives on emerging trends across sports, entertainment, music, fashion, and technology
• Oversee execution at marquee events, campaigns, and activations, ensuring operational excellence while maintaining strategic focus
• Collaborate with client-side teams and external agency partners (advertising, media, PR, etc.) to drive fully integrated marketing programs
• Contribute to departmental leadership by shaping thought leadership, best practices, and strategic frameworks, both internally and externally
• Be a motivational, accountable, and inspiring people leader, developing senior talent, fostering collaboration, and building high-performing teams
You Have These:
• 15+ years of senior-level experience in partnership, sponsorship, or cultural marketing, within an agency or client-side environment
• Deep understanding of lifestyle and cultural marketing, with expertise across sports, esports, music, entertainment, talent, and media ecosystems
• Proven ability to develop and lead large-scale, integrated partnership strategies with measurable business outcomes
• Executive-level client relationship management experience, including C-suite and senior stakeholder engagement
• Strong “Big Idea” sell-in experience, with the ability to translate strategy into compelling narratives and platforms
• Extensive experience negotiating complex partnership and sponsorship agreements
• Operational understanding of live events, experiential marketing, and large-scale activations
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, while driving disciplined execution
• High proficiency in data, analytics, and performance measurement, with the ability to interpret insights, guide decision-making, and communicate results to clients and internal leadership
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across organizations
• Ability to manage complexity, prioritize, and lead in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel for key client meetings and activations

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Rate Minimum:
$225,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)Hiring Rate Maximum:
