The Role


We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Senior Vice President, Marketing with a B2B background to join our internal Marketing team at Wpromote! As a pivotal leader reporting directly to our Chief Relationship Officer, you will be shaping the narrative, positioning our brand, and spearheading the execution of our go-to-market strategy to accelerate business growth. Our ideal leader will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing a cohesive, full-funnel strategy that generates demand, drives meaningful engagement across every touchpoint of the sales cycle, and attracts and nurtures qualified inbound leads.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $245,000 - $280,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.


This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.


*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

You Will Be

  • Setting the company’s marketing vision and goals that will align with and accelerate Wpromote’s key business objectives which include generating high-growth mid-market and enterprise-level leads
  • Overseeing demand generation, PR & Communications, and events efforts aimed at elevating brand visibility and maximizing market penetration 
  • Responsible for continuously elevating the company's brand positioning, content strategy, and go-to-market value propositions 
  • Overseeing a high-functioning marketing team of 10+ designed to be a measurable, accountable and scalable growth partner to the business
  • Working with and overseeing a team that supports the sales organization by creating branded materials, customizing assets for prospects, and drafting RFP responses
  • Providing product positioning for Polaris, our cutting-edge enterprise-grade SaaS platform developed in-house which delivers scalable apps for its expert marketers to accelerate profitable growth for clients
  • Nurturing channel partnerships to expand our reach and collaborate with key industry players
  • Leading overarching team direction which includes budget, reporting, goal-setting, and alignment with key stakeholders
  • Optimizing inbound lead flow to increase prospective client engagement and a steady influx of qualified leads
  • Supervising strategy, prioritization, and execution of industry award submissions, pitches for third-party speaking opportunities, and other brand-building initiatives
  • Continuously evaluating and evolving customer segments, including the development of tailored GTM strategies and criteria for each
  • Facilitating brand integration and marketing collaboration for any company acquisitions
  • Providing executive support and project management for company communications including presentations and reporting
  • Responsible for identifying and tracking all key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for marketing campaigns, pacing against and achieving overall goals, and delivering concise performance reports to agency leadership
  • Protecting the brand identity, including logos, visual elements, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency in branding across all communication channels
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitors, client success stories, and technology to drive thought leadership both internally and externally
  • Managing the recruitment process and forecasting hiring needs and organizational shifts 
  • Mapping career growth goals and setting learning and development paths for the internal marketing team, including annual performance reviews

You Must Have

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in marketing in the B2B or Advertising Agency space
  • 5+ years experience leading and managing a team
  • Impressive track record of envisioning and executing demand generation plans, which includes a track record of shaping brand differentiation
  • Proven involvement in building and contributing to transformative initiatives
  • Mastery in conceptualizing innovative, creative, cutting-edge marketing strategies
  • Presented at conferences/external events, showcasing the ability to articulate complex marketing topics and insights to diverse audiences 
  • Comprehensive expertise in digital marketing services encompassing, but not restricted to, search engine optimization, paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and email marketing
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex marketing strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to both give and receive input with finesse and incorporate insights for continuous improvement
  • Exemplary attention to detail and mastery of project management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, and other marketing technology providers 
  • Experience working directly with a board of directors
