What You'll Be Doing
- Own enterprise-level accountability for the definition, differentiation, and market readiness of Arcadia’s Life Sciences data products.
- Translate pharma, biotech, and commercial LS use cases into clear data models, schemas, and product requirements.
- Drive clear decision-making for Life Sciences data product scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs—balancing engineering complexity, speed, and commercial value.
- Ensure tight alignment between Life Sciences data products and Arcadia’s core platform roadmap.
- Work directly and regularly with data engineering and platform teams on pipelines, data models, refresh cadence, and metadata.
- Act as a hands-on product counterpart to engineering—reviewing outputs, validating assumptions, and ensuring analytical usability for LS buyers.
- Establish and enforce Life Sciences data product priorities across engineering teams, ensuring LS needs are reflected in core roadmap decisions.
- This work focuses on translating underlying data models into credible, externally facing insight experiences—not building UI for its own sake.
- Own the adaptation of Arcadia’s existing analytics, dashboards, and data visualization tools (e.g., Foundry/Vista) for Life Sciences use cases.
- Repurpose insight surfaces to support: Feasibility and cohort exploration; Therapeutic-area–specific data characterization; Commercial and scientific storytelling for LS customers
- Identify where existing tools fall short and define targeted enhancements, rather than relying solely on net-new platforms.
- Ensure LS-facing insights accurately reflect underlying data models and stand up to external customer and partner scrutiny.
- Ensure analytics and insight work is explicitly oriented toward product definition and revenue enablement, not standalone research.
- Develop repeatable insight frameworks that clearly communicate where Arcadia’s data is strongest by therapeutic area and use case.
- Personally support the most strategic enterprise deals and partnerships as the senior data and analytics authority, especially in late-stage sales cycles.
- Own executive accountability for Life Sciences data pricing and packaging strategy, in close partnership with Commercial and Finance.
- Ground pricing, tiering, and premium SKU decisions in data depth, differentiation, and demonstrated customer value.
- Help shift Life Sciences selling from bespoke analysis toward productized, value-based offerings with strong pricing discipline.
- Build and lead a high-performing Life Sciences data product and analytics organization, including direct and dotted-line leadership across teams.
- Establish clear operating rhythms, KPIs, and prioritization frameworks tied directly to revenue and growth outcomes.
- Serve as a connective executive across Product, Data, Ops, Legal, and Commercial teams to prevent execution gaps.
